Axa XL said Tuesday it has hired former Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. fidelity and crime leader Brian O’Neill as head of its crime and crisis management business, which includes kidnap and ransom insurance.
He replaces Greg Bangs, who is retiring, according to a statement from the Axa SA unit.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway in 2014, New York-based Mr. O’Neill was an executive vice president at American International Group Inc.
