Employees everywhere: Show me the money

To lower the risk of employees skedaddling to greener pastures, and buck the Great Resignation trend, companies ought to heed this warning: 44% of Americans want a raise in 2023.

Corporate communications consultant Moneypenny conducted a survey of 1,000 working adults to gauge their work goals for the coming year.

Other popular goals, 31% said they want a promotion and 24% want greater work/life balance. There might not be hope for some employers, as 21% want a new job and 11% want to completely change their careers.

On the plus side, 40% of respondents said they achieved their 2022 work goals.
